Kevin Abt was raised on a farrow-to-finish swine
operation. He graduated from the Ohio State University with a
degree in Animal Science and while attending OSU, was a
member of the OSU Livestock Judging Team.

Kevin served several years as an ag instructor at Blanchester High School. During his tenure, the school's FFA program was recognized on both the state and national levels. Currently, he serves as Vice Principal at Blanchester High School.

In addition, Kevin is a professional swine judge and has judged numerous swine shows throughout the United States.

Kevin has bred and produced numerous award-winning pigs.

Dirty Deeds was our pick of the 2011 Indiana State Fair crossbred show. He was one of the most powerful topped and hipped boars in the show. He sets his feet down very square, and keeps from easing out in his hock like a lot of the powerful boars do today. He has huge bone and square toes. He comes from Wintex Farms in Texas with a very successful genetic background that has no Fatal Attraction, no Big Shot and no Alias anywhere in the pedigree. Dirty Deeds is a boar that will add mass and not sacrifice structure. He will be used extensively on our farm this fall, we believe he will make exceptional barrows.
